Love watching films? Passionate about the environment? Want to “make a difference”? Then be a part of our volunteer team and our exciting annual event!
The San Francisco Green Film Festival is looking for dedicated, energetic, and green-minded volunteers and interns to help launch the festival. Positions range from a few days during the annual festival, May 29-June 4, 2014, to part-time or full-time internships lasting several months. Whether you can tear a ticket, wrangle a guest itinerary, or write a promotional pitch – we need your help!
APRIL 2014 UPDATE: We are excited to be founding members of Catchafire here in the Bay Area. With their support, we’re looking for skilled professionals to help us with some specific, timely projects to help the Festival grow. Check it out and maybe you know someone that would like to get involved and volunteer.
All volunteer and intern positions are unpaid, but have other benefits:
~ A working environment with many green-minded colleagues and the opportunity to build strong connections in the Bay Area green community.
~ A learning experience within the film festival world. This is useful experience for those studying or involved with independent filmmaking, event production, or non-profit arts/film organizations.
~ The opportunity to attend Festival screenings and events and to meet visiting filmmakers and guests.
~ Class credit, if applicable. Related majors include Film/Media Production or Studies, Communications, Business or Arts Administration, Environmental Sciences.
~ A great resumé builder!
~ An active contribution to our work for a greener future on planet Earth! We could not produce this festival without your crucial efforts.
