Our Lights! Camera! Take Action! program launched at the 2012 Festival, providing ways for you to find out more about the issues presented in the films, to share stories and ideas, and to make connections with partners in our community who are doing vital work.
Have you seen a festival film and started thinking “What can I do?” Then check out our Take Action! guides: Find out how you can get involved and have an impact on some of the most pressing environmental issues.
Submit your Instagram photos/videos to the 2014 Festival! Show us your day-to-day ventures of green living in the Bay Area using Instagram, whether it be your bike ride to work, your locally grown lunch, your eco-fashion, or simply the trash you picked up off the beach. Document how you’re making a difference by taking photos/video and posting them on Instagram using the hashtag #sfgreenlife
Inspired by a Festival film or discussion? Share your thoughts in our Video Story Booth in the Festival Lobby.
We want to empower people to become activists, advocates, and savvy consumers. It is essential to the SFGFF mission that we empower those who attend our programs to move beyond their theatre seats towards an active response of solidarity with the environmental justice issues presented by our films.
