Executive Director Rachel Caplan will be in New York to represent SFGFF at Envision 2012: Stories for a Sustainable Future, hosted by the Independent Filmmaker Project and the United Nations Department of Public Information at the Ford Foundation.
The conference focuses on how storytelling and documentary film can be powerful tools in building a better future for all people. This year’s highlights include a keynote address by Don Cheadle, Academy Award-nominated actor and goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme, and a conversation with Alexandra Cousteau, founder of Blue Legacy.
Watch the live stream on April 17 from 9:30-600 pm EDT at www.envisionfilm.org – and join us for conversation on twitter @sfgreenfilmfest.
