  screening of BUTTERFLIES & BULLDOZERS and a Q&A with the filmmakers Ann &
  Steve Dunsky following the film.</p>\n<p>San Bruno Mountain is the larges
 t intact fragment of wild San Francisco. For fifty years\, many people hav
 e fought to protect the mountain and its rare butterflies. The fight resul
 ted in a significant change to the federal policy on endangered species\, 
 and in the process\, turned allies into enemies. Told with humor and insig
 ht from those involved with the battles\, this is a tale of right vs right
 . It is also a story about the rights of nature and the rights of people\,
  one of compromise and commitment\, and one about the difficult choices we
