It’s an excellent co-working space in a swiftly shifting SoMa neighborhood (i.e., Twitter, Storify, Dolby, Code for America etc). And it’s two blocks from Civic Center BART and Market St. MUNI.
A single large desk space is $250/mo including bills ($500/mo for 2 desks). This includes WiFi, PG&E, security alarm, water, garbage, janitorial, and shared used of the suite mailbox. This also includes room for shelves, wall space, and limited storage, as well as use of Film Center facilities such as kitchen, unlimited use of meeting space in the lobby, and tenant reduced rates for rental of the 80-seat screening room (which can also be set-up for meetings or workshops).
The room is quiet and secure on the second floor of the building and has 24/hr access. The total space is 467q ft and shared with 2-3 other people. (SF Green Film Festival staff & intern). Plus it’s a “green” building!
Other Film Center tenants include the Center for Asian American Media, the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, Frameline (San Francisco’s LGBT Film Festival), National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture, the Filmmakers Collaborative SF, and the Video Project, as well as resident filmmakers and many media-minded folks.
